Book Title: What’s Left of Us
Author: Amanda Maxlyn

The heartwarming conclusion to What's Left of Me.
Love found me three years ago.
I’m cancer free, happily married to the love of my life, and working toward my dream career.
Our life is complete. Perfect, really.
Or is it?
I’ve always wanted a family of my own, but never dreamed I could have one. Now Parker’s ready to make my dream our reality.
But sometimes our dreams are haunted by our deepest fears. Fears of failure, having a child, and in our case … death. How do I help the person I love get over his fear when I’m still trying to overcome that same fear myself?
Together we must learn What’s Left of Us.

Jenny's Review

When I read What’s Left on Me it left me in complete daze. I literally couldn’t start another book because I will pretty much enamored  by this beautiful story. I couldn't wait to read what was next for Parker and Aundrea.

The prologue at the beginning of the book almost made my heart stop. I thought, oh no, this cannot be happening. What a way to begin this story. I couldn’t imagine what I had to look forward to with that.

Aundrea and Parker are married. Aundrea is cancer free and her heart condition is manageable. She;s about to graduate college and start the career she's always wanted. Everything is seemingly well for them. Parker think that should move to a next stage in their relationship, kids. You can imagine what Aundrea must feel to take this huge step in her life.

Fear. Fear of the unknown. Fear of how her health will affect not only her, but her family. And Parker, although he is ever attentive to Aundrea, he has his own fears. The real fear of potentially losing Aundrea.

Parker, oh, Parker will always have a special place in my heart.  The way that he show her how much he loves her gave me  such butterflies in my stomach. I need to find my own Parker.....swoon

Amanda wrote such a fantastic conclusion to Parker and Aundrea's story. There are the ever present moment of love and hopefulness but also rising above their mutual fears to find not only themselves but to realize that life is worth living. There were times while reading that I could feel every emotion that Parker and Aundrea were going through. They were real. Real emotions that most people would feel if there were in their situation. I absolute loved this book and Amanda's writing. I can't wait to read more of her books.

Life works in mysterious ways.

Four years ago I became known as the girl with cancer.
I refuse to cry.
And I refuse to give in.
A relationship with a man is the last thing I’m looking for right now, but one night with Parker changes everything. He is persistent, and he knows what he wants. Me.
He doesn’t treat me like I’m fragile.
But he doesn’t know, and I’m not ready to tell him.
What if it changes everything?
Tragedy found me when I was seventeen.
Love found me when I was twenty-one.
My name is Aundrea McCall, and this is my journey.

I am the mother of two little boys, married to the love of my life, and living in one of the smallest towns in Minnesota. When I’m not chasing or cleaning up after my boys (yes, all three), I can be found writing or snuggled up with my kindle, a glass of wine, and spending time with my fictional friends and family.
I am first and foremost an avid reader! I love to read anything romance from paranormal, young/new adult, contemporary, and even yes, (wide eyes) erotic/BDSM.
