Review: Come Away with Me (With Me in Seattle) by Kristen Proby

Synopsis
Being confronted on the beach by a sexy stranger wasn't part of Natalie Conner's plans for a peaceful morning taking photos. And why on earth would he think she's taking pictures of him, anyway? Who is he? One thing’s for sure, he’s hot, and incredibly romantic, feeding Natalie’s wounded soul.

Luke Williams just wants the world to give him a break, so seeing yet another camera aimed at his face has him ready to pounce on the beauty behind the lens. When he finds out she has no idea who he is, he's intrigued and more than a little tempted by her. Natalie has a body made for sex, a sassy mouth and Luke can’t get enough of her, but he’s not ready to tell her who he really his.

Natalie is a no nonsense girl who doesn’t do well with lies and secrets. What will happen to this new relationship when she discovers what Luke’s hiding?

Jenny's Review
Come Away with Me by Kristen Proby has been on my TBR list for well over a year. I follow a lot of other blogs and fellow readers and they usually have such amazing things to say about this book. I rarely see someone give the book less than 4 or 5 stars. However, when I finished reading the book, it wasn't a WOW book for me.

Don't get me wrong, the story did hold my attention, hell, I finished it in less than a day even with work. However, I just felt that there was no real storyline. I loved the way Luke was written. He showed that he cared for Natalie in amazing ways, showered her with gift, compliments and attention, with a little side of possessive jealously that I sometimes like the male lead to have in a story. I just couldn't connect with Natalie. There just wasn't anything that make me care for her and that's sad. Also, like most people, I like a HOT sex scene and this book is chock full of them, however I felt that it was almost happening on ever other page. Who in the hell got that much stamina? The story just didn't come off as realistic to me and it felt rushed.

I'm giving it 3-stars because I really enjoyed Luke and the book did hold my attention but I did catch myself rolling my eyes a lot while reading it. I do have the other book in the With Me in Seattle series, I hope they are better then this one.
